The Glass Menagerie (유리 동물원) 의 도입부인데.. 이 부분은 극에서 무대를 설명하는 부분입니다. 아주 자세히 설명하는 부분이 인상적입니다. 앞으로 계속 올려줄 내용은 좀 길지만 문장은 그리 어렵지 않습니다. 한번 끝까지 가 봅시다
At the rise of the curtain, the audience is faced with the dark, grim rear wall of the Wingfield tenement.
막이 오르면 관객은 윙필드 연립주택의 어둡고 음침한 뒷벽과 마주하게 됩니다.

보도블록과 평행하게 이어지는 이 건물은 양옆으로 어둡고 좁은 골목이 이어져 있는데, 이 골목은 엉킨 빨랫줄과 쓰레기통, 인근 비상구의 불길한 격자무늬로 이루어진 어두운 협곡으로 이어져 있습니다.
