오늘은 3회차입니다. 하루에 공부할 적당한 분량으로 만들어 봅니다. 너무 길어도 힘들테니 말이죠. 매일 조금씩 공부해 나가는게 제일 중요하다고 생각합니다. 매일 조금씩.. 오늘도 달려봅시다.
He would not be such a brute as to cross her. 그는 그녀의 뜻을 거스를 만큼 그런 짐승 같은 사람일 수는 없었다.

Then they would have quite a little tussle about which should yield and 그때 마다 그들은 어떤 주장이 양보돼야 하는지를 놓고 아주 작은 드잡이를 하곤 했다. * tussle 몸싸움,승강이, 실랑이
it was only with difficulty that at last he persuaded her to have her own way. 그래서 마침내 그가 그녀를 설득하여 그녀의 뜻대로 하게 하는 것은 결국 어려움이 있을 뿐이었다.
On one occasion seeing her walk eight miles on an expedition that she particularly wanted to make 한 번은 그녀가 특별히 하고 싶어 했던 여행에서 8마일을 걷는 것을 본 적이 있었다.

‘I sometimes think that you’re quite strong enough to do the things you want to,’ I murmured. ‘나는 때로는 네가 원하는 것은 모두 다 할 수 있을 정도로 아주 충분히 건강하다고 생각해.’ 라고 웅얼거렸다.

‘You can’t very well expect me to fall down dead just to please you,’ she answered.
